Tom Ton @ Central

I went with mum and sister to try Tom Ton @ Central after looking at Leslie's blog.
Tom Ton @ Central Black Pig

How special can a Black Pig's meat taste like, I wondered ?

Reached there 5pm on a Thursday noon. The restaurant was very quiet, we were the only customers. Guess alot of people still at work. I wanted to sit outside near the river view, but the area was blocked due to the sun.
The bar with the chefs working.

Had a hard time figuring what to eat from the menu. All looked to good must try.

In the end ordered Sukiyaki, Prawn and Loin for my sister and Kim Chi Bimbimba for my mum.
Salad for the Prawn and Loin to remove the oily taste.

The heavenly Sukiyaki. I never tried such fantastic soup in my life before. The soup taste very hard to describe more towards sweet and fragrant but not MSG. The udon is so chewy and smooth. The meat is definitely different from typical pink pings.

Cost : $18.80
Taste : 5/5 (fantastic soup and chewy Udon)
Value : 4/5 (Large serving, enough for me this big eater)

Prawn and Loin set.

Cost : $24
Taste : 4/5
Value : 4/5 (Generous amount of pork and prawns.)

Kim Chi Bimbimba

Cost : $18.80
Taste : 3/5 (Kim Chi alittle salty)
Value 3/5 (Not much ingredients)
